Guitar Hero... exactly who was the brain child of this game anyway? I've resisted trying it for several years, never understanding the point of it; I tried Dance Dance revolution and couldn't imagine this one to be much better. Along come our friends telling us how we MUST try this game, its fun, etc. Jay and I continued to scoff at it refusing to be suckered into trying what appeared to be a pointless game.
Just after the holidays we were invited over by some friends who love this game and we finally gave in and tried it, that was a bad idea. I've spent the past month stopping at the display every time I was in Best Buy to play a song and we finally gave in this weekend and actually purchased the game. This was Saturday morning... we got home, hooked it up to "try" it out and the next thing I knew it was nearly time for dinner *grumble* I wonder if needing my fix of guitar hero is an acceptable excuse for calling in sick to work... probably not :)
